I recommend familiarizing yourself with the app before installation to ensure a smooth setup process. The manufacturer claims that installation is a straightforward DIY task taking less than 10 minutes; however, I suggest allowing at least 30 minutes to read through the instructions thoroughly. The installation process is user-friendly once you align the centre screw correctly.

I found both models share strengths and weaknesses. While I raised concerns about the app in my earlier review, I also praised the quality of the RFID card setup and overall physical construction. The same holds true for the Touch41 model; despite some mixed messages regarding its IP rating (IP65 vs. IP54), these are minor issues in an otherwise robust product. The quality of materials used in the Touch41 is solid and reliable. Its effective performance during setup is complemented by an easy-to-follow installation guide that allows DIY enthusiasts to handle it without needing professional assistance.

The ability to track door access via the app adds an extra layer of security and convenience.
